A dashboard rotary switch gives you easy access to three driving modes. 2WD for normal driving conditions sends power to the rear wheels only, while engaging 4WD ensures a 50/50 power split between the front and rear wheels. 4WD high gives you the high ratio required for faster, lighter off-road conditions. And 4WD low selects a low ration for maximum traction in serious off-road conditions, deep mud or during climbing, with maximum engine braking whilst descending. The Nissan Navara 4WD also comes with a manually operated differential lock as standard, ensuring a 50/50 split of power to both the rear wheels in demanding off road conditions.

  Leave your worries behind with the help of the most powerful 2500-cc, DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder, YD-Di diesel common rail engine for the 4x4 model with variable nozzle turbine and intercooler. Full power operation of 174 hp at 4000 rpm, highest torque of 403 Nm at 2000 rpm. As powerful as a 3000-cc petrol engine but with better acceleration at all RPMs.
• The Latest Common Rail Engine
  The common rail direct fuel injection system operates using a high-pressure fuel pump to supply fuel with maximum pressure of 180 MPa. The computer-controlled electronic injector will inject a spray of high-pressure fuel twice for complete combustion within the combustion chamber. The process works together with a single-chain timing belt and twin-balancing shaft to reduce noise and vibration while smoothing engine operation at all RPMs
• Variable Nozzle Turbine (VNT)
  VNT adjusts the tilt of the exhaust fin via a computer control unit to regulate air flow at both high and low RPMs resulting in efficient acceleration
• Intercooler
  Large front intercooler panel rapidly reduces air temperature sent to the engine from the turbine thus optimizing combustion efficiency for a powerful driving sensation.i>
• New 32-bit ECCS
  State of the art computer system receives data and quickly processes the information to control timing, fuel supply and accurate pressure at all RPMs. An additional engine oil sensor checks for service & maintenance period. li>
